Clinical Elective ProgramThe clinical elective program is to provide a training opportunity to medical students, residents, fellows and nurses, to experience a range of health services and medical specialties, and encourages a broader understanding of the medical profession. If you are an exchange medical student from our partner medical school seeking to do a clinical elective clerkship at ZUSM, please refer to your home institution coordinator for further information. If you are seeking for Residency Training,Fellowship Training or Nursing Training please feel free to contact our elective placement coordinator at the hospital of your choice.

ZUSM clinical elective programs for partner school medical students as well as self-application medical students. A range of elective options are available, in a number of disciplines across seven clinical sites.

Students attending foreign medical schools may apply for a maximum of twelve weeks of electives at the affiliated hospitals of the Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Please allow at least six months to plan and complete the application process.
There are application processes that need to be completed and approved to participate in electives at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Candidates must complete the Visiting Student Application Process. Your failure to complete the application processes will result in your request to complete electives at the ZUSM to be denied.
